An evening of distilling at Brennlust
Gin Workshop
The alcohol bubbles quietly in the still. The macerate steams spiced under the lid of the boiler. Then finally, the moment arrives: the gin begins to flow! At the gin workshop with Brennlust, I will take you on a journey into the world of gin and distillates.
Once known as genever, gin is now more than just a cocktail staple. Gin can be distilled in a variety of flavors, making it one of the most versatile spirits in the world.
What we do
You'll become real distillers for an evening!
Under the guidance of distiller Andrea, you'll create your own personal gin recipe as a group – with over 25 herbs, spices, and citrus fruits available to give the distillate your own personal touch.
Meanwhile
Meanwhile, enjoyment is not neglected, of course. There are:
- 4 long drinks made to our own recipe,
- a small selection of non
- alcoholic drinks,
- tasting of Brennlust distillates,
- tarte flambée from the Flammkuchenzentrale.
The result
Once the gin has been distilled, we will measure the alcohol content of your personal distillate together and adjust it to your desired alcohol content.
Approximately 800 to 900 ml of gin is produced in one evening of distilling. We will bottle this so that you can take home approximately 50-100 ml per person.
