The alcohol bubbles quietly in the still. The macerate steams spiced under the kettle lid. Then finally the moment arrives: the gin begins to flow! At the gin workshop with Brennlust, I will take you on a journey into the world of gin and distillates.
Once known as genever, gin is now more than just a cocktail staple. Gin can be distilled in a wide variety of flavours, making it one of the most versatile spirits in the world and the perfect companion for your exclusive distilling evening with Brennlust!

What we do
You will become real distillers for an evening!
Under the guidance of distiller Andrea, you will create your own personal gin recipe as a group – with over 25 herbs, spices and citrus fruits available to give the distillate your own personal touch.
Meanwhile
Meanwhile, enjoyment is not neglected, of course. There is:
- 4 long drinks according to house recipe,
- small selection of non-alcoholic drinks,
- Tasting of Brennlust distillates,
- Flammkuchen from the Flammkuchenzentrale.
The result
Once the gin has been distilled, we will measure the alcohol content of your personal distillate together and adjust it to your desired alcohol content.
Approximately 800 to 900 ml of gin is produced during one distillation evening. We will bottle this so that you can take home approximately 50-100 ml per person.
Where we burn
The gin workshop takes place either in the distillery, right next to the large copper still – here we have space for up to 12 people.
lternatively, we can distill your personal gin in the orchard (protected from rain) – here we have space for 16 people.
