A Williams-Christ long drink

This recipe has been in our drawer for quite some time - it was actually created in autumn 2021:

It was a mild autumn evening, and I (Andrea) was in the mood for a long drink that was quick to prepare. It should be not sweet, but not bitter either , and delicately balanced. And somehow I was in the mood for a Williams-Christ pear .

And since I still had some Elderflower Tonic chilling in the fridge, I grabbed it. Something that goes wonderfully with ginger-lemon liqueur might also go well with pear, I thought.

And it was a real stroke of luck. One might mistakenly think that a noble, delicate brand, such as a classic Williams-Christ is masked by a tonic. But people completely underestimate the power of a fine brandy. Despite the elderflower tonic, the aroma of the Williams-Christ brandy is wonderful when you smell the drink. And the pear flavor hasn't diminished either!

Enjoy!
Your Andrea
