For raspberry lovers

It's 8:30 a.m. on a warm summer evening. The sun is shining on the terrace, providing a pleasant warmth. The perfect time for a refreshing drink. Since I'm not in the mood for a gin and tonic, but I still want to enjoy the slightly bitter taste of a tonic, I'm going for a different base this time: rhubarb liqueur.

A spontaneous idea that tastes delicious.

Rhubarb - a vegetable that inspires

Rhubarb is a vegetable, although we often treat it as a fruit. Unfortunately, it's only available for a few weeks in the first half of the year. Luckily, I've preserved it as a liqueur , so you can enjoy it all year round. 🙂

Rhubarb & Tonic

  • 4 cl rhubarb liqueur
  • 10 - 20 cl Thomas Henry Indian Tonic
  • 1 slice of lemon
  • Some lemon balm

Fill a red wine glass with large ice cubes. Pour the liqueur on top, then top with the Indian tonic.

Adjust the amount of tonic to your liking. Garnish with a slice of lemon and some lemon balm. Cheers! 🙂
