Anise, burnet, elderflower, speedwell, peppermint, sage, thyme, marshmallow, and many more herbs form the basis of this spicy and fresh herbal spirit. Crafted by award-winning distiller Otto Koch without any artificial additives or sugar, this rich distillate from a total of 40 different Swiss herbs impresses with its exceptionally finely balanced blend.
Opened bottles should generally be emptied within a few months to a maximum of one year to avoid loss of flavor.
What is the correct storage?
For long-lasting enjoyment, you should always store a distillate in a dark, cool and upright place.

Drinking temperature
The ideal drinking temperature for BRENNLUST distillates is between 15 and 18°C.
Add a little water
Before tasting the distillate, drink water first. This moistens your tongue and its pores. If you were to drink a shot of liquor when you're thirsty, the alcohol would practically attack the exposed pores on your tongue. 40% ABV would then quickly feel like 50% ABV.
Not all at once
To experience the fullest of the fruity aromas, it is recommended to enjoy the distillate in small sips. Simply drip it onto your tongue and the aromas will do the rest.

We live by this premise: to capture and preserve the natural aroma of the raw materials in the distillate, without adding sugar or artificial flavors.
Capturing the Spirit
The recipes for our spirits are developed in-house over a long period of time. Ingredients aren't just added to the distillery on a whim and then just "see what comes out."
Various recipes are first tested and refined on our small Brennlust distillery before the first batch is distilled.
