Red Edition: Wintery and spicy – Distilled together with fine winter spices to create a delicate distillate, this Red Edition from Limestone surprises with an exceptionally aromatic taste. Cinnamon, star anise, cloves, and exotic tonka bean lend it a delicate, sweet aroma. But it's the subtle citrus note of hand-grated orange and lemon zest that gives Limestone Red Edition its unmistakable character!

It's perfect for creating a Gin & Tonic, Gin Fizz, or London Mule. Whether as a base in a cocktail or enjoyed neat, Limestone Red Edition is the perfect companion for a cozy winter evening by the fireplace. And as befits a London Dry Gin, it's made without artificial flavors and sugar.

Enjoyment recommendation

Since this is a distillate with a citrus note, a classic tonic is best, either one that has a light citrus note of its own or is relatively neutral. After all, the goal with a gin & tonic is not to overpower the gin. Indian tonics from Thomas Henry, Schweppes, and Goldberg are excellent for this Red Edition. The classic mixing ratio would be 1 unit of Red Edition + 4 units of tonic, although stronger ratios such as 1:3 are also perfectly acceptable.
The key here is to simply experiment and find your personal mixing ratio. Very important: large ice cubes! A gin & tonic should be very chilled; large ice cubes not only provide an excellent cooling effect, but also melt more slowly!

Sensory perception

The Red Edition has an earthy, slightly sweet aroma, complemented by a citrus note. The palate is noticeably spicier and more complex without overpowering the juniper.

Die Gewürze sind klar, aber nicht dominant herauszuschmecken. Für den Glühgin perfekt!
